I forgot about that. There was a Yankees pitcher that did this a few days ago. The umps told him to go wash his hands. And that was it. Scherzer is a hothead so he probably said the magic words.

His Hall of Fame speech is an all timer.
When you can get a gallery of (sometimes curmudgeonly) old ballplayers practically rolling off the stage in laughter, you're doing it right.
