USAid is and was a corrupt and inefficient organization.

No evidence it was inefficient or corrupt and the abrupt ending of it has caused somewhere from 700k to 1 million deaths to date with most of them being children. Ending a program of that scale overnight did not allow for replacement actions from countries that already give more as a proportion of GDP
