Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the three-eyed raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King

So, again as someone who has never seen an episode, what is the concensus of everyone on the finale? Did you like the ending? Did it live up to the hype?
I just remember being addicted to LOST and then as they got toward the ending it all got so confusing and convoluted that watching the ending didn't even make any sense. When it was over I wasn't sure what I had even just seen.

Game of Thrones was known for shocking pot twists involving killing off popular characters. And the finale had some of that but closed the story with a sizzle and no bang. The ending was rushed but fair. I'd recommend watching the series regardless

I'm with Blast. One of the two had to die and in the scene you didn't know who did it which was cool.
Bran is an asshole but if you were going to install a ruler, why not someone weak with a short life expectancy? Plus he made it very clear, he's not an actual RULER from his position. Sam would have been a better choice long term but his child is half Wildling.
I look forward to the prequel and Naomi Watts maybe showing us her titties again.

It's similar to "Lost" in the sense that they tried to wrap up years of plot entanglements in just a few episodes. I'm not exactly what would have made me happy but that wasn't it. The best review I can give the ending episode is a solid "meh". Which is a shame for a series that had been for the most part incredible.

Since the dragon flew away with her body, why not just declare the dragon killed her? Why else would he have flown away with her?

Lunch?
My point was that I doubt anyone would suspect Jon since the dragon flew away with her body. If Jon killed her why wouldn't the dragon have killed him?

Jon is a Targaryen and supposedly they have a special bond with dragons which is why he was allowed to ride.

It would have been nice to see Sansa and Arya full frontal in the shower washing off the blood, or some hookers bouncing breasts.
Most viewed HBO finale ever.
Anyone watch I’m Dying Up Here? Kind of based on the book of the same name. Its season finale was a bummer

So Greyworm and all eunuch Unsullied are going to go live on an island? That should be a real blast.

On an island filled with Butterflies carrying super AIDS that kill anyone that isn’t an island native (who are immune), in less than a year.
Also the minute they are gone, why hasn’t Jon just turned around and said “fuck those nutless assholes, I’ll do what I want.” Also eunuch warriors are the worst idea, they are literally the opposite of what you need for strength and power.
