There are still a couple million more files to be released and no I’m not happy with the redactions

Groceries aren’t cheaper

New vehicles aren’t cheaper

Electricity and fuel gas aren’t cheaper

Long forgotten sicknesses are making a comeback

The country is divided

I’m guessing the immigrants weren’t the problem

Border secure
Illegal Aliens are being deported
Military recruitment is up
Inflation is easing
Unemployment is comfortably low

Iran has been exposed as helpless.
Russia and Ukraine are actually talking about a peace deal.
We are fixing to get some kind of deal with Greenland.
Trump tax cuts were extended.
Started using drug boats as training targets for the US Navy.
Supposedly ended tax on tips, overtime and social security. I will believe it when i start seeing it.
Got rid of the penny.

Up to $25k in tips, up to $12500 in OT, most people 65 and older(so most here :) get an extra $6K deduction. Social Security is still taxable depending on how much other income one has.

how does the over time work? I pay over time to my employees, but I don't think that over time pay is reported differently on the W-2's that go out.

If I remember correctly deductions made on payrolls have varied tax rates based on supposed annual earnings.

eg.
If you’re salaried at $1000 per week or 50K per year your tax rate is X

Hourly base pay at 40 hours is X however when overtime is included they multiply by 50 and tax you at the higher rate.

Haven’t done this in years correct me if I’m wrong

If it isn't on the W2, I use the last pay statement of the year. Only the "premium" is deducted. So of the time and a half they are paid, they don't pay tax on the half.

it certainly wouldn't be difficult to track that information because I already have to track payroll that way for insurance purposes. They only want to know the straight time pay for all of the labor.

But, I don't think that information is like that on the W-2 that gets mailed out. But honestly, I'm not sure. My CPA handles that and he may be doing it. I know for a lot of my employees that is a big number. Some of them make as much in over time wages as they do in straight time wages. Or close to it.

The IRS is giving payroll companies until next year to have it on the W2. This year it's being reported mostly on the honor system.

Well, if there is one common thread running through people that get paid over time, they will certainly report their earnings honorably.

Why are democrat run states refusing to have their voter registrations be cleaned up? They don't even want them looked at. Why in the world would a state agency tasked with securing their elections not want to have the most accurate voter registration possible?
