Like the one for New Hampshire. Front bottom looks like a scene from the 1800's, Dude dressed like the 1700-1800's. But what's the deal with the volcano? Did he explore Nicaragua or something? Wish they had an explanation for something.

I think it just depicts an old coal miner. Check out Mississippi. Bloody dude in the water with a couple of steamers in the background and what looks like rapids. What's the deal with that? All I can think of is that steamboat carrying ex-POW's North that blew up in the worst maritime disaster in US history.

Who's the name of the artist? There has to be some kind of side article somewhere explaining each one. Haven't you heard? UJR is full of interweb sleuths.

There is no artist. It's all AI generated in a computer program.

Has to be some human hand that develops the program and guides it along.

Methodology
We first asked Reddit users in all 50 states and DC to describe their home state using a few keywords. What is the first thing you think of when you picture your state? What is your state known for? How would you describe it to someone not from there? From there, we pulled the most commonly used keywords and put them into our artificial intelligence prompt. We used Craiyon to create each image. This research was performed in October 2022.

DALL-E 2 and IA Midjourney are two of the tools that use artificial intelligence most used by Internet users. The latter has been classified as the best by several specialized technology portals, such as ‘Xataca’.

He called it artsy, showy and over the top: “Midjourney is committed to creating a kind of canvas. In some cases it produces images more similar to what we are looking for, while in other cases there is some distortion“.

The website explains that This tool is capable of producing basic images of up to 1,792 x 1,024 pixels; but how is it used? You must write ‘/imagine’ and a descriptive text of the visual content you want to produce.

Thus, the bot will generate four images in 60 seconds.

The truth is that the images produced by this tool are not necessarily to the liking of the entire public and that was what happened with the Colombians.

What would countries be like if they were movie villains?
Midjourney was asked to generate an image of each nation as an antagonist straight out of horror, mystery and action cinema. The results were dark and gloomy figures that astonished TikTok users, a social network in which various content creators shared the images.

Japan as a samurai, the United States as a kind of thug, Australia as a muscular kangaroo, and more were the AI-generated characters.

Guatemala also attracted attention as a kind of indigenous zombie, Portugal as a pirate and Iceland as a humanoid fox, related by many users to a character from the anime ‘Naruto’.

Several laughed and joked with Argentina’s villain: an evil version of Messi sitting on a throne.

‘He looks like a hit man’
But those who did not feel well represented were many users from Colombia, since In the image you can see a type of tattooed man, who has pieces of cyborgcarrying weapons and without a shirt.

Many Internet users related him to drug trafficking, since he has an aesthetic reminiscent of gangs in Latin America and urban violence: “He looks like a hitman.”

Another controversial case was that of Venezuela, which was inspired by the president Nicolás Maduro, who in the image has an air of Simón Bolívar.

So that's the deal though. There are no artists per say for AI it is self-created by using many different images or keywords. There's a big dust-up over the use of AI art because it can and IMO will put actual artists out of work, digital artists, photographers, painters, etc. It's a double edge modern sword.
