there was just a thing on the news, guy somewhere around here joined a dating site and the girl convinced him to invest in crypto and then they'd hook up. The dipshit eventually gave her a total of 1.4 million to invest and it was a scam, he lost all the money and authorities said no way to find out the scammer. This was local news but I'm betting it will go national, some government guy said it was the largest amount of money lost to internet scammers.
