Anybody ever done it. I've been watching a show on guys in Alaska, I'm sure most of you have seen it. With gold up around $1300 an ounce, that seems almost like a no brainer for these guys now. They get around an ounce per hour.
I'm curious how they get rights to an area to mine, how they split with the landowner, etc. Anybody have any knowledge on it?

If you get started, you'll need gear. I recommend electric cars and all electric heavy equipment.

I know a guy there. He'll help you out if you've got a claim. He also works as a sheriff. Good dude. You can trust him. He's a bit stiff personality wise but his heart is the right place. I hear there might be some dirtball saloon owners around so watch your back. If you're just looking for some snatch though they can help you out.
