Fight Climate Change?

Unfuckingbelievable.......

https://nypost.com/2019/09/09/scientist ... NYPTwitter

A Swedish scientist speaking at Stockholm summit last week offered an unusual possible tactic in combating global climate change: eating human flesh.

Stockholm School of Economics professor and researcher Magnus Soderlund reportedly said he believes eating human meat, derived from dead bodies, might be able to help save the human race if only a world society were to “awaken the idea.”

I hate that I have to say this, but there might be Bernie Sanders supporters reading this, so:

That's it! I'm done flying on private jets and owning/buying 4 houses (3 of which will ostensibly be underwater in 10 years).

I don't think we can do anything about what changes the earth will have. It has been changing for thousands of years, it will keep changing. What chaps my ass is this notion that some people think they/we can change the course, at the expense, both in lifestyle and money, of the USA. Many other counties pollute much worse than the US completely unchecked, with no intention of changing, yet we will save us all? Bullshit. This is nothing more than a huge attempt at a money grab, socialism.

Climate change is real. It's happening all around us.
It may be man-made. It may not be man-made. It may be a natural occurrence. It may not be a natural occurrence. It may or may not be a natural occurrence that we are contributing to.
But the fact of the matter is... it's happening. So what are we going to do? Are we going to sit around and deny it? Or are we going to try to do something about it?
People who deny climate change is happening based on nothing more than their political beliefs are just fooling themselves. Climate change is a very real problem, and turning it into a politics problem solves nothing.

This is about planet Earth, folks. This isn't about "Fucking Trumptards!" or "Fucking Libtards!"
This is a bigger problem than any of that. We need to grow the fuck up and help do something about it.

You are supposed to cook long pig low and slow.
years and years ago i was on a ranch and me and another guy shot a hog. It was a big boar feral hog. I'm only guessing, but it had to weigh close to 300 lbs. Anyway, we left it where it was and eventually got back to the camp. There was an old mexican guy that took care of the ranch and he was there when we got back and the other guy was telling him about the hog we killed. His (mexican's) first question was how big was it? When he heard it was over 200 lbs he sort of frowned. Second question was "boar or sow"? When we said "boar" he just shrugged and walked away.

One thing I knew was if a mexican walks away from free meat on the ground, then its not edible.

Well, its mostly natural and there is nothing that can be done about that.

One side wants to tax the air we breathe to 'save the planet'; the other side wants to pollute wholesale because, I guess, 'fuck the planet'.

Why is there no sensible middle ground pushing for general pollution control? Whether you think man is killing the world or not, I bet everyone agrees that clean food, water, and air is important, and it can be done without strangling the economy as a whole.

(The answer: Because finding common ground means bring people back to a political center, and that is bad).

The left goes overboard in wanting to strangle business and force people to live as they see fit, all in the name of saving the Earth.

You already pay for the rain, they want you to pay for the air you breathe as well.

Again, both sides are bring idiocy to the discussion- and unfortunately too many Americans are stuck in primitive, tribal politics- so they support their sides rhetoric even when its self destructive and outright wrong.

Are you sure about that?

-The climate has been changing for thousands of years, and it will keep changing.
-Some people do want to "do something" at the expense of lifestyle and at extreme cost.
-Many other Countries DO pollute more then the US, and generally until a Countries GDP reaches a certain point - zero fucks are given about the environment.
-And yes, it does seem like most climate bills are just massive money grabs. I mean, shit, you pay for the rain already.

I think the only part that is up for debate just how much this is connected to socialism.

So, of 5 points, this looks to be 4.5 out of 5. But thanks for playing.

Climate is changing and has been for thousands of years blah blah blah.
It is the rate of change in the last two to three hundred years and especially the last one hundred years that's the problem.
Extreme cost bullshit.
It means you're afraid of change.
Other countries are worse!!!
Only China puts more CO2 into the atmosphere than the US. And if you look at it on a per capita basis the US is at twice the rate of China.
You already pay for rain.
I'm not sure what you're even trying to argue here
So it looks like on the fact based points 0 for 2
and the rest is just opinion.

You can telling all bullshit just by watching the clowns who push the narrative. Al Gore flies everywhere on private jets and his home (one of them, anyway) has a monthly electricity bill 20 times that of a typical American home. That idiot Bernie Sanders owns four energy-guzzling homes, and drives around in a low-mileage sports car -- that is, when he's not taking private jets or flying on passenger planes. Even AOC, hero of the stupid, is always whining about her "new green deal" and how the planet is going to die in 12 years, but still flies everywhere or takes a limo, despite living in NYC, where there's a fucking subway that'll take you anywhere you need to go.

These are the people screaming about climate change, but they can't be bothered to make the changes they expect everyone else to make. That's how I know climate change is just a cash grab.
