There are a lot of possible dystopian futures waiting for us. Blade Runner to The Road. My feeling is the The Road is more possible.
I blame Biker.

Brutal movie. Cormac McCarthy never mentions what caused the global catastrophe. Assumed to be nuclear War. I'm guessing an Asteroid/ Comet strike.

I only hope to survive the initial wave. Some water, some adventure, killing opponents, settling scores, devolving into small kingdoms, then eventual death from an infection or dysentery.

There have been a lot of Cormac McCarthy books translated into movies. I'm still dumbfounded nobody has taken on his greatest literary achievement- "Blood Meridian". It's seems a no-brainer.

I just listened to an Ologies podcast on apocalypse. The guy being interviewed is betting on biological agents developed by some Looney tune.

Again, it's been forever for me since I've seen "Blade Runner" and I get it's considered a sci-fi classic, But it's seems to have aged pretty badly. Really, I need to see it again to confirm. No go on the 2 streaming services I use.

The movie you haven't seen in forever and barely remember seems to have aged pretty badly?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Jul 25, 2019 11:39 pm Again, it's been forever for me since I've seen "Blade Runner" and I get it's considered a sci-fi classic, But it's seems to have aged pretty badly.
