Re: Cheap trips to Fiji
Someone near to me recently visited Turks and Caicos. They were slipped something in a drink at the airport, and had to delay departure for another day. Some kind of hallucinogenic. All that effort to live a decent life, potentially ruined by an animal with no capacity to recognize what they’re doing.

Bug spray was responsible a couple of years ago. I bet it's the same in some of these cases.

Probably alcohol poisoning or smth else. It's not safe to drink cheap cocktails and so on.

I read they think the mini bar drinks were tampered with, possibly chlorine.
A client wants to celebrate her 40th in DR, so we booked a pretty fancy Dreams all-inclusive at a ridiculous deal. She told her friends that day and I told her they needed to book asap as it's never more than 50% off. Dumbfucks didn't listen, called 2 days later but now just 50% off instead of the 67% off she paid. So they hesitate and say they'll wait. Fine. Then people started dying. So my client is all "well prices should drop with all the deaths" and her friends are all "fuck this trip we aren't going no matter what". My client won't cancel, still hoping for price drops.
Also, as for the single woman who died, I read a few days ago that the DR will NOT release her body without it being cremated or embalmed. Nor will they release any autopsy results. The government cannot do toxicology tests at the locations either because their machines are broken.
The group of girls who went for a grad trip got sick after eating at Dreams, in the Japanese restaurant. Prob bad fish but this is a seriously bad timing for another group to get sick in the DR.
One woman has survived the possible poisoning, and has returned home with no taste buds and serious respiratory issues.
I just wonder how many more stories will pop up? And when will my client cancel her trip?

So I could go drug all the women I want in the DR and cannot get prosecuted, this is great news.

Ya I wouldn't do either of those. I do have friends that live on Martinique. Love it there.

I remember the first 3 months I was volunteering at an orphanage in Guatemala and we had a malaria outbreak. Between 40 volunteers, 120 kids and the local village of Breezes, it was just over 350 people and we had 55 cases of malaria, including 6 kids between 8-12 months. Government recognized it as a problem and started spraying buildings inside. DDT is not a smell you forget easily, and that is what they were spraying. It may be banned in N.A. but it is widely used in Latin America.
