How could Republicans possibly get rid of him (aside from impeachment)??

To impeach you need 2/3 of Senate to go along with it, and there's a greater chance of you scoring a date with Scarlet Johannsen then that happening

25th amendment or impeachment, clearly grounds for both. The republican's sycophancy is just because they value re-election over their oaths, the rats will jump ship when it becomes clear he's now a liability for their re-elect.
