I remember your PM warning. Right after I joined. Don't even remember what info I was giving out that concerned you enough to send a warning. Do you? Years before I even mentioned what town I lived in.DiverTexas wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 12:08 pmThis is partially true, I did warn you about sharing too much info on UJ.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 10:59 pmBull fucking shit. She traveled 250 miles or something and started banging on their windows at 3AM. When she didn't get a response, started busting windows. Cops called, arrest made. Can't remember her name. Any old UJ'rs remember that?Flumper wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 10:17 pmthat vet was me.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 9:39 pmThis is why back in the old UJ days when I mentioned ditzy across the street, everybody wanted to see a photo of her in her yard. It was definitely after you joined, because I warned you via PM.
The banging on and busting windows with cops involved was never mentioned by me because I have no knowledge of that occurring.

I don't recall the precise info, but it was enough that it had the potential to cause you a lot of grief.

Partial retirement suits me well.
3 more years and I will sell the company outright and spend more time in the country and away from Austin.

CTS-XHP steel

It's a fantastic chopper but the smooth handle doesn't agree with me so much anymore. I'm thinking I'll get something with a more contoured, grip-able handle and hand my current one down to my son.
But I don't like cheap blades. I love the all around quality of CTS-XHP but I'm thinking of moving up to Elmax or CPM-110V. Do you work with those?
What do you know about G05 steel?

I'm a big fan of high carbon steel and prefer them to be cryogenically treated for extended edge holding capabilities.
A proper heat treated steel is my biggest concern.
The proper RC hardness is crucial to me to make sure the knife isn't one that needs to be sharpened often.
