Gladly. Yearly football pool, conducted by what turned out to be a math retard. I always abstained for the first 2 weeks to access all the changes all the teams had done in the off season. Then did the 5 each week for the entire season and playoffs Got down to the final close week and I was was third (percentage wise) but with a chance to win. Retard said I had 4 less wins, so no chance. I pointed out I had 8 less losses. Retard said only wins matter. Math Junior College courses were suggested by me. End of story.

You can't wait and see how teams good or bad teams are before you start betting. You don't want to bet on games in the first 2 weeks, then you take L's on all the games you were expected to bet on. If they expected you to bet on 9 games, 9 losses. 10 games, 10 losses. the only way to correctly allow someone to join a competition after missing the first 2 weeks would be to assign them losses for every opportunity they skipped in the first 2 weeks. if you are betting 5 games a week, then they would have 10 losses to start in week 3. thanks.

now if you wanted to have a "side bet" or a "consolation flight" for people joining in week 3, you could erase everyone's record up to that point and start from scratch in week 3 for a much smaller trophy to be given out after the big confetti drop at the end of the season when most people have left to find their cars. happy easter.

If you pay even a marginal amount of attention to the NFL draft in April, offseason trades and free agent signings, and all those NFL preseason games... then it's quite easy to go into an NFL spread pool in week 1 and have a wealth of information at your disposal.
But WTC obviously couldn't be bothered doing any of that so he invented a stupid rule that would benefit him and no one else. Then he tried to inject that rule into a pool that he didn't start or manage. He failed miserably and has been blaming my math skills ever since.
