well i get that law enforcement 100+ years ago was somewhat limited in their abilities to crack open cases. with finger print dust and interviews and all the things they had at their disposal. but holy shit, in 2019?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:21 pm That mob shit has been going in NJ way before prohibition. Remember reading a book a few years ago- it was about instances of nuclear accidents at power plants, test sites, laboratories, etc. Had one that happened in the late 60's at a power plant somewhere (don't remember) kinda minor. They bought it on the cheap years earlier from a guy who had invested in it to operate out of NJ. Guy gave it up. Too much of a hassle dealing with the Mob in it's construction. Labor stoppage, parts and labor inflation, the usual mob dealings.

The Mob is a shell of itself from it's glory days. Rico among others like VBIII mentioned. Russians. others rushed in. Very perceptive "scene" from not only the original "Godfather" movie but from Mario Puzo's book. Scene from the late 50's when the bosses had a meeting about getting into the drug business. Old school, with the politicians and police in their pockets said that was a really bad idea. Younger bosses wanted to move forward. Proved their downfall.Flumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 10:11 pmwell i get that law enforcement 100+ years ago was somewhat limited in their abilities to crack open cases. with finger print dust and interviews and all the things they had at their disposal. but holy shit, in 2019?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:21 pm That mob shit has been going in NJ way before prohibition. I had no idea using a blue pen marking circles on your palm during the boring interrogation constituted a Pro-Trump attitude. I guess when Jupiter's Red Spot changes its path in a few hundred years, It's a sign that Trump was the Anti-Christ.
