Was he stealing bikes from the bike shed or dealing weed at the front gate?

It was a little black girl with a short afro, and about fifty little white kids gathered round in fascination in the playground and asked questions like are you a boy or a girl. She cried.

I guess in hindsight the teachers should maybe have done a little prep work.

Odd, I'd have thought it would be 'colored' that would be the sensitive word since y'all had colored sections and colored water fountains, restrooms etc. Black is simply descriptive.

It's always amusing to see an american over here stumble over trying not to describe a black person as african american. It may be the most pc term for y'all, but it doesn't travel well.

Personally I find those to be offensive terms for jungle bunnies or jigaboos.

How the hell do you get to mooncricket?

Yeah, I think we had one black kid up in our school in Yorkshire and it was similar when he started, poor bastard. We only had a couple of Indian kids too and maybe 3 Chinese kids.

I never heard my grandfather refer to a black person as anything other than a coon.
