what is the best? i don't drink tequila but i buy it from time to time. i usually go with Patron silver.

I used Caballos today. It's a good cheap tequila that works well for margaritas and other mixed drinks. My other fall back is Epsolon. Both are great for the price. My absolute favorite is Clase Azul Plata. I could sip that neat all night long. If Patron was $15 less a bottle it would be a good buy, but nothing wrong with it.

1 part Gran Gala
2 part fresh lime juice
pour over ice

Use fresh lime juice and simple syrup, splash of OJ, Grand Mariner if you like it, Cointreau if you don't. For fun add a couple slices of fresh jalapeno to the mixing tin and shake vigorously.
